I had a great time at the lodge in Carter Caves. The location is beautiful, perfect for hiking and exploring the caves. The room was clean, but a little dated and the beds weren't the most comfortable. I had a fantastic time at this resort! The park surrounding it is beautiful, and the lodge is really well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, and the food was delicious, especially the catfish! However, the noise from the upper floors was quite bothersome, and my wife had a mishap due to a loose step on a trail. Overall, it's a lovely spot for families, but definitely consider your room choice for a quieter experience.
